3. Unfiltered Apple Cider Vinegar – Since acne breakouts are caused by your body fighting with the bacteria in your skin, this product’s anti-bacterial properties provides some extra muscle. It will help to regulate the pH balance of your skin and detoxify it. The other acids the vinegar contains are also beneficial to your skin. To use, mix a few teaspoons of cider in a small amount of water.
4. Lemon Juice – These little jewels are very acidic. But that’s a wonderful thing because the high acid factor is strong enough to battle acne bacteria. And it doesn’t matter if you use fresh lemons or buy the juice on it’s own. Rub it on your face and leave it on for 15 to 60 minutes.
5. Garlic – Seems like you can use garlic for anything, however in this case it is good because it contains antibacterial elements. Before applying it to your skin, cleanse your face with soap and water. Next, crush the garlic and mix it with a little water. Then, apply it to your face.
In addition to the above treatments, here are some other things you can do to reduce zit breakouts.
- Wash your face every day…at least twice.
- Avoid popping, rubbing and picking at your pimples.
- Apply a moisturizer to your skin regularly.
